Cinnamon Philosophy is OSTER project's fourth album, released on October 27, 2010. It contains 17 tracks, composed by herself and sung by the Crypton 6. As of this date, the album is not available for streaming, however some individual songs are available online through official song uploads or reuploads! OSTER project is my favourite vocaloid producer and this album has a lot of my favs so I'm excited to have it in my collection! I love the lace and doilys they used in the album art's design and Yoji's art is always so cute, I think it's a really perfect match for OSTER's music at this time.
In an interview after the release of 'Attractive Museum', OSTER mentioned how in the early days of vocaloid, the songs tended be cute tracks centered around the vocaloid themself with a sense of 'I'm doing my best!' to the lyrics. Although that interview came a few years after, I think this album is a really interesting listen with it in mind because you can really see how that influenced OSTER's music and helped to build that classic 'OSTER project' sound that most people think of when she comes up in conversations about vocaloid but also has a lot of variation between each track, which is something more common in her more recent releases. So, I think it's a cool combination of old and current vocaloid sounds and it gives it a really nostalgic but pleasant feel that doesn't get boring at any point.
